Cookie Policy
This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on multitransport.com.tr, the website operated by Multi Transport Anonim Şirketi ("Multitransport", "the Company"). It lists only the technologies actually in use on the site; nothing has been included merely as an example.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device through your browser when you visit a website and sent back to that site automatically with subsequent requests. Other technologies work in a similar way: local storage (localStorage) keeps data on your device but, unlike cookies, that data is not sent to the server on its own with every request. Embedded content (such as a map frame) may cause the third-party provider serving that content to set its own cookies.
2. What this site does not use
For the sake of transparency, let us start with what is absent. This site uses no advertising or marketing cookies and no social media tracking pixels, and performs no profiling or behavioural targeting. As the site has no user accounts or memberships, no session cookies are used either, and no visitor database is maintained. Typefaces are served from our own server; no request is sent to a third-party font service. Google Analytics 4, the only analytics tool we use, is off by default and runs only if you give your consent (see 4.1).
3. Strictly necessary and technical items (no consent required)
The items below are required for the site to work as you have requested and to protect the forms from abuse. They rely not on consent but on the delivery of the requested functionality and on the legitimate interest ground in Article 5/2-(f) of Law No. 6698, and cannot be switched off from the cookie banner.
3.1. Cookie preference record — mt.consent
To remember the decision you make in the cookie banner and the preferences panel (whether you allow the analytics and map categories) and to avoid showing the banner on every visit, an entry named mt.consent is kept in your browser's local storage. It holds only your decision, its date and the policy version. Without this record we could not honour your choice, so it is treated as strictly necessary. It is not a cookie and is not sent to the server.
3.2. Bot protection — Cloudflare Turnstile
To prevent automated software (bots) from abusing the contact and quote forms, we use the Cloudflare Turnstile security check. The verification component is loaded into your browser from challenges.cloudflare.com when you view the section containing the forms; in doing so your IP address and browser information reach Cloudflare, and Turnstile may store a short-lived verification token on your device. When you submit a form, our server also sends the verification token and your IP address to the same address in order to confirm that the check is valid.
Turnstile is not used for advertising or visitor tracking; it serves a security purpose only and therefore does not require consent. Cloudflare, Inc. is a provider established abroad, so this transmission constitutes a transfer of personal data abroad within the meaning of Article 9 of the KVKK. 3.3. Rate limiting — hashed record of your IP address
To limit excessive form submissions from the same connection, a salted hash (salted SHA-1) of your IP address is held briefly in a temporary file on our server (default window: 1 hour). This is not a cookie, leaves no trace in your browser, and the record expires and is deleted automatically at the end of that window.
4. Consent-based items (off by default)
4.1. Visitor statistics — Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used and to improve our content. It is loaded only if you consent to the "Analytics" category in the cookie banner or the preferences panel; if you do not consent, no request is sent to Google and the cookies below are not set.

If you consent, the pages you visit, where you came from, your device and browser information, your approximate location derived from your IP address and interactions such as submitting a form or clicking the telephone, e-mail and WhatsApp links are sent to Google. The information you type into the forms is not included in this measurement. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off, and the data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months. As Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC is located abroad, this constitutes a transfer of personal data abroad within the meaning of Article 9 of the KVKK. This item relies on your explicit consent under Article 5/1 of the KVKK; when you withdraw it, measurement stops and the _ga cookies are deleted.
4.2. Embedded Google Maps
The contact section contains an embedded Google Maps frame showing the location of our office. This map loads only if you give your consent. If you do not consent, the map is not loaded at all; instead we display our full postal address and an "Open in Maps" link that opens the location in a new tab. Following that link is your own choice and takes you to Google.
If you do consent, the map is loaded from Google's servers; in doing so your IP address, browser information and details of the page on which the map is displayed are transmitted to Google, and Google may place its own third-party cookies on your device. These cookies are not under our control and are governed by Google's own policies. This item relies on your explicit consent under Article 5/1 of the KVKK, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

6. How to change your preference
- On the site: Click the "Cookie preferences" link in the page footer to open the preferences panel at any time and withdraw or grant your consent for Google Analytics 4 and Google Maps category by category. When you withdraw analytics consent, measurement stops immediately and the _ga cookies are deleted; when you withdraw map consent, the map no longer loads.
- In your browser settings: All current browsers let you view, delete and block stored cookies and site data (including local storage). These controls are usually found under "Privacy and security". Clearing site data also deletes the mt.consent entry, which causes the cookie banner to be shown again.
- Regarding necessary items: You may block all cookies and site data in your browser; however, the security check may then fail to run, in which case you may be unable to reach us through the forms. 7. How long is your consent stored?
The decision you make in the cookie banner is stored in your browser's local storage for 12 months. After that period your preference is reset and you are asked again. If you clear your browser data sooner, the record is deleted immediately. Google Analytics 4 cookies remain in your browser for at most 12 months after your last visit. Where you consent to Google Maps, the lifetime of any cookies set by Google is determined by Google's own policies and is outside our control.
8. Forms, automatically recorded data and transfers abroad
This policy covers cookies and similar technologies; the information you submit through the forms is explained in detail in the KVKK Aydınlatma Metni. Because it is directly related, we note the following here as well:
- When you submit the contact or quote form, in addition to the information you enter, your IP address and browser information (User-Agent) are recorded automatically for security and abuse-prevention purposes and appear in the e-mail that reaches us.
- The form content is sent from our server through the Microsoft Graph interface to our Microsoft 365 corporate mailbox and stored there. As Microsoft's cloud infrastructure is located abroad, this constitutes a transfer of personal data abroad within the meaning of Article 9 of the KVKK.
- An automatic acknowledgement e-mail confirming that your request has reached us is sent to the address you provide. This e-mail contains no marketing content; it only confirms receipt of your submission.
- The WhatsApp button on the page is simply a link and sets no cookies; when you click it, the WhatsApp app or WhatsApp Web opens and WhatsApp's own policies apply from that point on.

10. Updates
This policy is updated whenever the technologies used on the site change. If a new third-party service requiring consent is added, you will be asked for your preference again through the cookie banner.
